Mixtures vary from family to family and from one region to the other; the classic mix is made of ground black and white pepper, allspice, cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg and coriander.
This spice adds an Arabian flavor to meats and vegetables. You could also sprinkle it on cooked eggs with a drizzle of extra-virgin olive oil.
Makes ¼ Cup
1 tablespoon ground all spice
1 tablespoon ground black pepper
1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon powdered ginger
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
Method: Measure all the spices into a medium mixing bowl and mix well. Then transfer to a plastic bag or airtight container.
